Get your site ready for AI search

Your site may rank on Google — and still be invisible to AI search

Today, up to 0% of search queries are answered inside AI — with no click to your site. While you optimize for Google, the buyer is getting a recommendation from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini — and often it's a recommendation for a competitor. Run a free check and get an HTML report in under a minute — then decide on Starter or Pro.

GEO Fix — get your site ready for AI search

When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity who to choose, AI often recommends someone else. Usually because your site is closed to AI crawlers or it lacks the structure AI can lean on.

GEO Fix doesn't stop at an audit. We prepare a package of files and instructions that opens your site to AI crawlers and describes your business so AI can cite you confidently. The package includes access settings for AI crawlers (robots.txt), a short site description for AI (llms.txt), machine-readable markup (schema.org / JSON-LD) and step-by-step instructions for your CMS.

Why your site can rank on Google and still lose customers in AI search

Strong SEO no longer guarantees that buyers will see you. They're getting answers straight from AI — and a different brand can land in that answer.

of sites hide behind bot protection

A silent ban from your bot protection

Most sites run bot protection — Cloudflare, Wordfence and similar (called a WAF). By default it blocks not only spammers but AI crawlers too: GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot. The site works fine for humans, but AI can't see it — and can't recommend it.

AI traffic shows up as “direct”

Your analytics hide AI traffic

When a customer arrives on a ChatGPT or Perplexity recommendation, Google Analytics usually marks them as “direct.” You see the traffic, but not the source — and you can't tell how many customers you've already lost to a competitor.

of brands are invisible to AI

AI can't reliably understand your business

AI often favours sources it can crawl and parse: clear page markup (schema.org) and, where teams use it, a short site map (llms.txt). Missing signals do not block Google AI Overviews by themselves, but they can make ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar systems lean on competitors who are easier to read.

Bottom line

“Your business can be flawless to humans — and still stay invisible to AI.” — GEO Fix team

methodology / 3 modules

AI search is changing the buyer journey.

GEO Fix gets your site ready for it.

Buyers increasingly ask AI directly and decide based on its answer. GEO Fix prepares your site for that in three steps: opens access for AI crawlers, makes the site structure clear to AI, and ships instructions for your CMS.

  • robots.txt
  • schema.org
  • CMS-deploy
Crawl

Access for AI crawlers

We check whether AI can even reach your site. Bot protection (Cloudflare, Wordfence) and the wrong robots.txt often cut AI crawlers off along with spammers — and the site owner rarely knows.

Schema

Machine-readable structure

We mark up key pages with schema.org and, where it fits your stack, assemble llms.txt — a short site map for AI systems. That helps assistants find facts about your business faster; Google Search still relies primarily on crawl access and strong, non-commodity content.

Rollout for your CMS

We prepare the exact files and step-by-step instructions for Shopify, WordPress, Wix or Webflow. On a different system, we provide general steps with alternative installation paths.

POSITIONING / 3 APPROACHES

Others surface the problem.

GEO Fix delivers the fix.

The market splits into three approaches: AI-visibility monitoring tools, full-audit agencies, and implementation teams. The first two surface the problem. GEO Fix closes the last mile — we ship files, the report and CMS-specific steps that can be applied right away.

Monitoring

FAQ

Answers to the key questions about GEO, Express Check, packages, CMS support and delivery.

Basics

What is GEO?

GEO is preparing your site for AI search: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI assistants.

We open access for AI crawlers and describe your site in a format AI understands: robots.txt, llms.txt and schema.org markup.

No team can guarantee placement in a specific AI answer — that decision sits with the AI platforms. What we can do is remove the technical reasons AI doesn't see you, so your site has a real chance of being cited.

How is GEO different from SEO and why bother if SEO already works?

GEO doesn't replace SEO — it complements it.

SEO prepares your site for click-through search on Google and Bing. GEO prepares it for answers in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI assistants — where users often get the answer without visiting the site.

  • Shared with SEO: fast site, clean structure, correct markup.
  • GEO specifics: open the site to AI crawlers, add llms.txt and schema.org markup for citation readiness.
  • Goal: make sure AI systems understand and can reference your content correctly.
Why might my site rank well on Google but still show up weaker in AI answers?

AI assistants crawl sites with their own bots and judge them by their own signals — not the way Google does.

AI gets less context about your site when typical gaps are present:

  • AI crawlers can't pass your bot protection (Cloudflare, Wordfence and similar).
  • There's no llms.txt file — a short site map some AI pipelines use (optional for Google AI Overviews per Google's guidance).
  • schema.org markup is thin or missing.
  • Content is hard to slice into citable blocks.

GEO Fix helps close these technical gaps.

Do you guarantee placement in ChatGPT?

No — placement in AI answers cannot be guaranteed.

GEO Fix helps prepare your site for AI search — we tune accessibility, structure and the signals AI systems use to understand a site.

The outcome depends on accessibility, structure, content and the logic of each AI system — and those decisions are made by the platforms themselves.

Express Check

What is Express Check?

A paid AI-search readiness diagnostic for one site. We check whether AI crawlers can see your site, plus the presence and quality of robots.txt, llms.txt and schema.org markup. You get an HTML report with the issues we found and the priorities. Express Check covers the report only — files and instructions are part of the Starter and Pro packages.

Why is Express Check paid and what happens after payment?

The symbolic fee filters out drive-by requests and marks the start of the work. Once Stripe confirms payment, we run the Express Check diagnostic checklist and assemble your HTML report.

When do I get the HTML report?

The report arrives by email after the payment is confirmed. We commit to a specific turnaround at checkout — it depends on team load and site scale.

After Starter / Pro implementation

When can I expect to see results after Starter or Pro?

Timing depends on how often AI platforms re-crawl sites and refresh their indexes — and that's controlled by the platforms, not by GEO Fix. So we don't promise visibility in a specific AI product within a fixed number of days. For Pro we run a follow-up technical signal recheck after installation to confirm AI crawlers read the changes correctly.

Plans and add-ons

How are Starter and Pro different?

Starter is the baseline technical file package; Pro adds manual page review and a follow-up check after installation.

Starter £249 includes:

  • robots.txt and llms.txt — opens the site to AI and describes it.
  • schema.org markup (JSON-LD) tuned for citation in AI answers.
  • Step-by-step installation instructions (.md files).
  • Report with prioritised fixes.

Pro £499 adds:

  • Manual review of up to 20 key pages.
  • Recommendations on structure and citation readiness of copy.
  • Expanded report with priorities.
  • Follow-up check of technical signals after installation.

Exact volumes and contents are listed on each plan card.

Which CMS are supported and do I need a developer?

We support the popular CMS platforms, and in most cases you don't need a developer.

Ready-to-use instructions for:

  • Shopify
  • WordPress
  • WooCommerce
  • Wix
  • Webflow

For other CMS, we provide general instructions with alternative installation paths. In most cases, admin or hosting access plus a careful schema.org (JSON-LD) placement is enough.

If you'd rather have it done for you, the “on-site installation” add-on for £99 covers it.

What is Agentic Commerce and who is it for?

A bespoke project for online stores and catalogues preparing for sales through AI assistants.

A fit for shops and platforms that want AI agents to be able to choose products and place orders with them. Includes architecture for AI channels and integrations:

  • Working with AI agents over API (including the MCP protocol).
  • Preparing and normalising product feeds.
  • Integration with recommendation systems.

Budget starts from £2,000, with a typical £2,000–£5,000 range once the scope is clear.

Direct sales through any specific AI channel are not guaranteed — the focus is technical readiness.

What does the “on-site installation” add-on for £99 include?

An optional service on top of Starter or Pro: we install the package files on your site.

We work within your CMS and the access you provide. Billed separately from the plan; the scope is agreed before we start.

What discount is available after Express Check and how does it work?

Express Check customers get £50 off Starter and £100 off Pro for 24 hours after paying for the diagnostic.

Right after Express Check payment is confirmed, we email you discounted checkout links for Starter and Pro together with a live countdown — opening a dedicated page with a timer to the deadline.

After 24 hours the links automatically deactivate — on the Stripe side and on ours. The plans remain available at the regular price on the pricing page.

One discount per customer — granted for a paid Express Check.

Infrastructure and bot access

What is llms.txt and why does it matter?

llms.txt is a short text file on your site that describes the business and key sections for AI systems.

It helps some AI assistants orient faster. Google's documentation for generative AI in Search says you do not need llms.txt or other special AI files there — crawl access and helpful content matter more for Google.

GEO Fix still recommends llms.txt as part of broader AI-readiness for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and similar systems.

llms.txt doesn't replace strong on-page content or robots.txt — it's a helper, not a substitute.

If my site runs behind Cloudflare or another WAF, does that block AI bots?

Often yes — bot protection (WAF: Cloudflare, Wordfence and similar) blocks AI crawlers by default, the same way it blocks ordinary spammers.

In the Express Check report we flag those blocks where they're visible from the outside.

In Starter and Pro we provide practical steps for opening access to the right AI crawlers without weakening protection against spammers and scrapers.

Is it safe to allow AI bots?

It's safe when access is configured correctly.

  • Open access only to trusted AI bots from known platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity).
  • Block aggressive scrapers via robots.txt and your CDN/WAF settings.
  • Keep your existing protection against bots and DDoS in place.

The final call stays with the site owner and your security team.

Billing, taxes and delivery

Can I get a refund?

A refund is possible within 14 days if GEO Fix did not deliver against the plan terms.

Once the report or package files have been prepared and sent, the service is considered delivered — unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Full terms live in the Refund Policy on the site.

Are prices shown with or without VAT?

Listed prices exclude VAT.

Stripe may add local taxes at checkout depending on the buyer's country and B2B/B2C status.

The final amount including taxes is shown before you confirm the payment.

How and when do I receive my deliverables?

After payment is confirmed, the deliverables arrive by email.

  • Express Check — an HTML AI-search readiness report.
  • Starter and Pro — an email with the package: files (robots.txt, llms.txt, schema.org markup) and step-by-step instructions for your CMS.

Timing and contents are listed on each plan card.
