AI search readiness audit

Is your site ready for AI search — and does it stay ready?

Up to 60% of searches now end inside AI answers, with no click to your site. GEO Fix audits for free what AI crawlers can reach, read and trust on your site, and sends the fix list by email. Generative engine optimization (GEO) monitoring is what comes next: at launch it will re-check on a schedule and confirm each fix by the following audit.

GEO Fix audits AI search readiness free — because one audit only tells you about today.

A one-off AI search readiness audit shows what is broken now. It says nothing about next month — CMS updates, redesigns and plugin changes quietly break the same signals again.

GEO Fix starts with that audit — free and without an account: you get the list of issues by email. Monitoring is what closes the loop, and it is what we are building next: at launch it will re-run the audit on a schedule, confirm each fix by the following run instead of by a checkbox, and report a signal that breaks again as a regression. Trackers stop at showing you the problem.

Why your site can rank on Google and still lose customers in AI search

Strong SEO no longer guarantees that buyers will see you. They're getting answers straight from AI — and a different brand can land in that answer.

of sites hide behind bot protection

A silent ban from your bot protection

Most sites run bot protection — Cloudflare, Wordfence and similar (called a WAF). By default it blocks not only spammers but AI crawlers too: GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot. The site works fine for humans, but AI can't see it — and can't recommend it.

AI traffic shows up as “direct”

Your analytics hide AI traffic

When a customer arrives on a ChatGPT or Perplexity recommendation, Google Analytics usually marks them as “direct.” You see the traffic, but not the source — and you can't tell how many customers you've already lost to a competitor.

92%

of brands are invisible to AI

AI can't reliably understand your business

AI often favors sources it can crawl and parse: clear page markup (schema.org) and, where teams use it, a short site map (llms.txt). Missing signals do not block Google AI Overviews by themselves, but they can make ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar systems lean on competitors who are easier to read.

methodology / 3 modules

AI search is changing the buyer journey.

GEO Fix gets your site ready for it.

Buyers increasingly ask AI directly and decide based on its answer. GEO Fix prepares your site for that in three steps: opens access for AI crawlers, makes the site structure clear to AI, and ships instructions for your CMS.

  • schema.org

Crawl

Access for AI crawlers

We check whether AI can even reach your site. Bot protection (Cloudflare, Wordfence) and the wrong robots.txt often cut AI crawlers off along with spammers — and the site owner rarely knows.

Schema

Machine-readable structure

We mark up key pages with schema.org and, where it fits your stack, assemble llms.txt — a short site map for AI systems. That helps assistants find facts about your business faster; Google Search still relies primarily on crawl access and strong, non-commodity content.

POSITIONING / 3 APPROACHES

Others surface the problem.

GEO Fix delivers the fix.

AI visibility trackers report that you are missing from answers. That is where they stop. GEO Fix works the other end: what on the site keeps AI from reaching, reading and trusting it — and, once monitoring launches, whether the fix held after you shipped it.

Plans: the audit is free, continuity is paid

Run the AI search readiness audit for free and get the fix list by email. Monitoring is what a subscription adds: at launch, repeat audits will confirm each fix and flag regressions, so the work does not quietly roll back.

The audit is free. A subscription is what will pay for continuity: at launch — repeat checks, a checklist that confirms itself, and regression alerts.

FAQ

Answers to the key questions about GEO, the free audit, monitoring plans and delivery.

Basics

What is an AI search readiness audit?

It is a check of what AI crawlers can reach, read and trust on your site: crawler access, machine-readable markup, extractable content and trust signals. The audit is free, needs no account, and the report arrives by email.

How will monitoring differ from a one-off audit?

A one-off audit describes today. Monitoring — the part we are building next — will re-run the audit on a schedule, so a fix gets confirmed by the following run, and a signal that breaks again comes back as a regression instead of going unnoticed.

How will a fix get confirmed?

You will mark an item as done, and the next scheduled audit will check it. Until that run happens the item stays "marked by you" — the confirmation comes from the audit, not from the checkbox. This arrives when monitoring launches.

What does GEO Fix not promise?

We do not promise inclusion in ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity answers, citations or rankings — nobody can. We prepare the technical and content foundation and show, check by check, what changed.

Express Check

What is Express Check?

A free AI-search readiness diagnostic for one site. We check whether AI crawlers can see your site, plus the presence and quality of robots.txt, llms.txt and schema.org markup. You get an HTML report with the issues we found, marked by severity. Repeat audits and the self-confirming checklist arrive when monitoring launches.

Is Express Check really free and what do I need to start?

Yes — Express Check is free, with no card and no payment. Just enter your site URL and email. We run the diagnostic checklist and show your HTML report on the page, then email you a copy.

When do I get the HTML report?

Right after you submit the form — usually within 60 seconds. The report appears on the page and we also email you a copy.

After Starter / Pro implementation

When can I expect to see results after Starter or Pro?

Timing depends on how often AI platforms re-crawl sites and refresh their indexes — and that's controlled by the platforms, not by GEO Fix. So we don't promise visibility in a specific AI product within a fixed number of days. For Pro we run a follow-up technical signal recheck after installation to confirm AI crawlers read the changes correctly.

Plans and add-ons

What is included in the free plan?

Today: the full list of issues found, with severity, and the HTML report by email. The top-3 checklist, repeat audits and the self-confirming checklist arrive when monitoring launches.

When do subscriptions open?

Subscriptions are not open yet: the Starter and Pro cards show a Soon badge and collect an email so we can write to you at launch. Nothing is charged in the meantime.

Can you install the fixes for us?

Yes — on-site installation is a separate paid service that works today. We place the prepared files and settings on your site through the access you grant.

Infrastructure and bot access

What is llms.txt and why does it matter?

llms.txt is a short text file on your site that describes the business and key sections for AI systems.

It helps some AI assistants orient faster. Google's documentation for generative AI in Search says you do not need llms.txt or other special AI files there — crawl access and helpful content matter more for Google.

GEO Fix still recommends llms.txt as part of broader AI-readiness for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and similar systems.

llms.txt doesn't replace strong on-page content or robots.txt — it's a helper, not a substitute.

If my site runs behind Cloudflare or another WAF, does that block AI bots?

Often yes — bot protection (WAF: Cloudflare, Wordfence and similar) blocks AI crawlers by default, the same way it blocks ordinary spammers.

In the Express Check report we flag those blocks where they're visible from the outside.

In Starter and Pro we provide practical steps for opening access to the right AI crawlers without weakening protection against spammers and scrapers.

Is it safe to allow AI bots?

It's safe when access is configured correctly.

  • Open access only to trusted AI bots from known platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity).
  • Block aggressive scrapers via robots.txt and your CDN/WAF settings.
  • Keep your existing protection against bots and DDoS in place.

The final call stays with the site owner and your security team.

Billing, taxes and delivery

Can I get a refund?

A refund is possible within 14 days if GEO Fix did not deliver against the plan terms.

Once the report or package files have been prepared and sent, the service is considered delivered — unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Full terms live in the Refund Policy on the site.

Are prices shown with or without VAT?

Listed prices exclude VAT.

Stripe may add local taxes at checkout depending on the buyer's country and B2B/B2C status.

The final amount including taxes is shown before you confirm the payment.

How and when do I receive my deliverables?

The free audit report arrives by email as soon as the check finishes — no payment needed.

  • Express Check — an HTML AI-search readiness report, free and without an account.
  • On-site installation and other paid services — by email after payment is confirmed.

Timing and contents are listed on each plan card.
